1 canadian dollar = .94 american dollars.

if I had my choice between having 1 euro or having 1 canadian dollar, I would take 1 euro because it buys more american dollars.

I can exchange my 1 euro for 1.39 american dollars.

I can exchange my canadian dollar for .94 american dollars.

On a 1 for 1 basis, the euro is worth more than the canadian dollar.
