Question 607595: The distance a ball will roll down an incline is directly related to square of the time it rolls. If a ball rolls 5 feet in one second, how far will it roll in the NEXT 4 seconds?
This is a little different from the questions already on the site in that I feel they're asking for the entire 5 second period the ball is rolling. So if I know that the ball rolls 5 ft in the first second, and it rolls 125 ft for the full five seconds. The answer must be the ball rolls 120 ft (125 minus 5 ft) in the NEXT four seconds. Please advise. Thanks!
