A cars covers 90 kilometers one hour faster than it takes a slower car to cover the same distance. The speed of the faster car is 24 kilometers per hour more than the speed of the slower car. How fast is the slower car moving?

Let speed of slower car be S
Then speed of faster car is: S + 24
We then get:
90(S + 24) = 90S + S(S + 24) -------- Multiplying by LCD, S(S + 24)

(S - 36)(S + 60) = 0
S, or speed of slower car = mph
