Let time she spent walking be T
Then time spent jogging = 1.2 - T
We can then say that: 2T + 4(1.2 - T) = 3.4
2T + 4.8 - 4T = 3.4
2T - 4T = 3.4 - 4.8
- 2T = - 1.4
T, or time spent walking = , or .7 hr, or minutes
Time spent jogging = 1.2 - .7, or .5 hour, or minutes
