The quickest way to do this is to recognize that Steve walked 3 miles in just under 43 minutes.
Ramon walked twice as far in 82 minutes, which is not twice 43 minutes. Ramon walked faster.
Another way is to just convert everything to minutes and divide the distance in miles by minutes
3/42.75=0.070 miles/minute Steve
6/82=0.073 miles/minute Ramon.
