Hi there,
If you travelled for 1 hour
at 15mph you would travel 15 miles.
If you travelled for 1 hour
ar 35mph you would travel 35 miles.
Therefore, outwards you would travel
for 15 miles and back in you would travel
35 miles.

If you mean how far:
The average speed of the round trip is
2*15*35/(15+35) = 1050/50
= 21 mi/hr
--------
21 mi/hr * 2 hr = 42 miles
--> 21 miles each way.
