A farmer has a certain number of eggs.
If he counts in groups of 3, there will be 2 remaining eggs.
If he count in groups of 4, 3 eggs will be remain.
Remaining 5,6 if he count in groups of 6,7.
How many eggs he has?
:
Start with multiples of 7 plus 6
13, 20, 27, 34, 41, 48, 55, 62, 69, 76, 83, 90, 96
Then multiples of 6 plus 5
11, 17, 23, 29, 35, 41, 47, 53, 59, 65, 71, 77, 83, 89
Looks like 41 would be good candidate, counting in groups in 3 is ok, however,
counting in groups of 4 does not give a remainder of 3
Let's try 83, that seems to work with counting by groups of 3 and 4
:
He has 83 eggs
