Question 975019: in one minute a ant climb in pole is 9 inch and in second minute he will down in 2 inches the what is time taken by ant in climbing 60 inches,,,???
Answer by anand429(138)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In every two minutes ant's climb is 9-2 inch i.e 7 inch
So in 8 such intervals i.e 16 min, ant's climb is 8*7 =56 inch
In 17th Min, ant can climb rest 4 inch easily and reach the top
So time taken = 17 min.
