Keith left the city for vacation. Jason left 9 hours later going 57 mph to catch up. After 8 hours Jason caught up to Keith. What was Keith's average speed?

Keith left the city for vacation. Jason left 9 hours later going 57 mph to catch up. After 8 hours Jason caught up to Keith. What was Keith's average speed?

Jason travelled 57*8 = 456 miles.
Keith travelled 456 miles in 17 hours.
456/17 =~ 26.82 mi/hr
