simplify to get k = 1/18.

d = 72 and you want to know the speed.

the formula is d = k * r^2

d = 72 and k = 1/18, so the formula becomes 72 = 1/18 * r^2

multiply both sides of the equation by 18 and you get 72 * 18 = r^2
