Answer by BC17(9)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A) First how many m in a km. 1 m = 0.001 km.
Therefore 330m = 0.33km
Therefore 330m/s would = 0.33km/s
B) The common way to work out this distance of a storm is to count the time between lighting and thunder and divide by 5 the resulting answer is how many miles away the storm was.
ie lighting - 4 sec - thunder therefor 4 sec / by 5 would give you 0.8 miles!
