In terms of just units:
[ ft/sec ] x [ mi/ft ] x [ sec/min ] x [ min/hr ] = mi/hr
If you do the cancellations, top and bottom, you
are left with [ mi/hr ]

Plugging in numbers:

It's speed is 60 mi/hr
