Answer by macston(5194) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
25 laps in 6 hrs Number laps/time=rate 25 laps/6 hrs=4.1667 laps/hr
Or for time per lap 1 lap=1 hr/4.1667 laps=0.24 hrs/lap
Convert to minutes/lap:(0.24 hrs/lap)(60 min/hr)= 14.4 min/lap
Number of laps times time/lap=total time (60 laps)(0.24 hrs/lap)=14.4 hr
OR
For the above problem, let T=total time
Multiply each side by T
Multiply each side by 6 hrs
Divide each side by 25 laps
=(14.4 hr)
