The distance between=3000 mi, halfway point would be 1500 mi It would take the first plane 5 hours at 300 mph to reach halfway, and it has already been traveling two hours, so it will reach the halfway point in three hours. The second plane must travel halfway (1500 miles) in three hours or (1500mi/3hrs)=500 mph
