A projectile is launched upward from level ground at an angle of 60° with the ?horizontal. It has an initial velocity of 45 m/s. How long will it take before the projectile hits the ground?
-----------------
The vertical component is 45*sin(60) =~ 39 m/sec
-----------
You didn't spec the effects of gravity. 5 m/sec/sec and 4.9 m/sec/sec are commonly used.
Using 5, its vertical speed will be zero (0) at 39/5 seconds = 7.8 seconds
It will take the same time to fall.
--> 15.6 seconds total time
