A bicycle moves with a constant deceleration of 2ft/s2. If the initial velocity of the bike was 10 ft/s, how far does it travel in 3 seconds?

After 3 seconds its speed is 4 ft/sec (10 - 2*3)
The average speed for the 3 seconds is (10 + 4)/2 = 7 ft/sec
3*7 = 21 feet
