let distance from work place to home be x miles
time while going = x/30
time returning = x/25
total time = 1 hour 6 minutes = 1 6/60 = 11/10 hours
x/30 + x/25 = 11/10
multiply equation by LCM 150
150*x/30 + 150*x/25 = 150*11/10
5x+6x=165
11x=165
/11
x=15
Distance = 15 miles
