Question 908850: my friend karla and i like to ride bikes. she lives about 6 miles away from me. one day we decide to meet along the greenways trail that we both would travel to get to the others home. since we are very competitive, I want to reach karla at the pont where i have traveled 3.6 miles so that i can boast that i rode faster than she did. I anticipate that karla will ride at 12 mph. if we leave our house at the same time, how fast must i average to accomplish my goal
