Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2.5(x+x+80)=2400
2.5*(2x+80)=2400
5x+200=2400
5x=2200
x=440 mph 1100 miles
x+80=520 mph 1300 miles
