Question 901366: A cheetah can go from 0 mph to 50mph in only 3 seconds. This is the equivalent of a speed of 0 ft/sec to a final speed of 72 feet/second in a time of only 3 seconds. What is the acceleration of a cheetah? *Please help me solve this equation*
This is what i got- 50 mph x 3 secs=150 mph/s then 72feet/sec x 3sec. =216 then final -initial it started at 0 then ended at 50 so i got -50 mph/fs

You just want to decide which units you want.

0 to 72 ft/sec, in 3 seconds.
AMP Parsing Error of [(72(ft/sec))/(3*sec)=24(ft/sec^2)]: Invalid function '))/(3*sec)=24(ft/sec^2)': opening bracket expected at /home/ichudov/project_locations/algebra.com/templates/Algebra/Expression.pm line 70. .
