Question 896026: A truck left from Town A traveling at speed of 80 mph heading towards town B. At the same time a car left town B traveling a speed of 60 mph heading towards town A. If the distance between the two towns is 350 . How long does it take for them to meet?

Together, they travel 80+60 miles each hour. 140 miles.
350 miles / 140 mph = 2.5 hours until they meet.
In 2.5 hours, the truck will have gone 80*2.5, or 200 miles
In 2.5 hours, the car will have gone 60*2.5, or 150 miles
