(x-c)=speed of plane into wind
(x+c)=speed of plane with wind
distance/speed=travel time
..
800/(x-c)=2.5
800/(x+c)=2.0
..
2.5x-2.5c=800
2.0x+2.0c=800
..
5x-5c=1600 (mult. by 2)
5x+5c=2000 (mult. by 2.5)
add
10x=3600
x=360
2c=800-2x=800-720=80
c=40
speed of plane in still air=360 mph
speed of wind=40 mph
