10AM to 2PM is 4 hours.
2PM to 7PM is 5 hours.
10AM to 10PM is 9 hours.

The northbound plane traveled (r+20)*9 miles and the southbound plane traveled r*5 miles.

Both planes going opposite directions, away from each other;
;
Solve for r.
From r, you can compute the distance traveled for each plane.
