Question 890391: You work for a moving van rental company. You must deliver a 19-foot van to an out-of-state vendor 264 miles away. If you drive at an average speed of 55 miles per hour, how long will it take you to make the trip?
Answer by JulietG(1812)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The size of the van and that it's out of state are superfluous bits of information.
miles/speed = time
264 miles / 55 mph = 4.8 hours
If you're driving round trip, then 9.6 hours
