Question 885423: if i drive a diesel cummins for three hours straight going 75 mph and i only burn a quarter of a tank of diesel, what kind of fuel mileage would i be getting?
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
d = r*t
d = 3 hr * 75 mi/hr = 225 miles
------------
225 miles on 1/4 tank --> 900 miles per tank
---------------
If you want miles per gallon, you have to specify the gallons in a tank.
