How many minutes will it take a helicopter, flying at 120km/h to reach a naval vessel that is 45 km away, if the vessel is heading toward the helicopter at 30km/h?

We need to know how long in minutes does it take the helicopter and naval vessel to cover the 45 km. We use rate times time equals distance. Therefore,
120t + 30t = 45
150t = 45
t = 45/150 = 3/10
now we want 3/10 of 60 minutes = 18 minutes
It will take 18 minutes for the helicopter to reach the naval vessel
