Answer by Reham98(4) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The rate against the wind is : 5,000/5 = 1,000 miph
The rate with the wind is : 12,420/9 = 1,380 miph
The rate of the wind : 1,380 - 1,000 = 380 miph
The rate of the jet in still aif : 1,000 miph
