How long will it take driver 2 to catch up?
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In two minutes driver 1 goes 2/60*70= 7/3=2 1/3 miles
Driver 2 goes 27 mph faster than driver 1
27*t=7/3*60
t = 140/27
t = 5.1852 minutes which is a little more than 5 minutes and 11 second
