Answer by ramkikk66(644)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a car passes mile marker 50 in 2 hours and mile marker 200 in 6 hours how many miles per hour is the car traveleing?
Solution:

Speed = Distance / time
Between the 2 markers, the distance is 200 - 50 = 150 miles.
Between the 2 markers, the time taken is 6 - 2 = 4 hours.
So the speed is  miles/hour.

Hope this helps :)
