Question 845798: I need help to figure out distance. If a car traveled 80 miles with an average speed of 50 miles per hour, what is the formula to figure out the time it took to travel?
Answer by pmesler(52) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
When dealing with distance, time, or velocity, use the formula
Distance = Rate * Time.
D = vt.
So, to find the time you would solve for t.
t = D/v.
Hope this helps.
