Question 843100: Travel An approximate linear model that gives the remaining distance, in miles, a plane must travel from Los Angeles to Paris is given by
S(t)=6000-500t
Where s(t) is the remaining distance t hours after the flight begins. Find and discuss the meaning, in the context of this application, of the intercepts on the vertical and horizontal axes.
Also need X and Y intercepts

Hi,
S(t)=6000-500t Where s(t) is the remaining distance t hours after the flight begin
Y intercept OF 6000mi would be the distance from LA to Paris
X intercept of 12hr would be the time it takes to fly from LA to Paris
