traveling 100 km at 20 km/hr takes 5 hrs (station to depot)
traveling 100 km at 25 km/hr takes 4 hrs (depot to station)
After 4 hrs of traveling, alice will have passed 8 buses.
After traveling for another hour alice will pass one more bus for a total of 9 buses passed.
