Question 831099: A car traveled at an average speed of 90km/h for 2 hours. It then traveled at an average speed of 100 km/h for another half an hour. What was the total distance covered in 2 1/2 hours?
Answer by JulietG(1812) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the first hour, the car traveled 90km
In the second hour, the car traveled 90 km
Then it traveled 1/2 of 100, or 50
Add the distances
90 + 90 + 50 = 230
