Let d = the one-way distance from the airport\
Change 4 hr 30 min to 4.5 hrs
Write a time equation; time = dist/speed
+ = 4.5
mult eq by 100, cancel the denominators
d + 2d = 450
d = 450/3
d = 150 mi

150/100 = 1.5
150/50 = 3.0
