2*1/2 mile : 2*24 seconds ... Multiply both sides by 2

1 mile : 48 seconds

1/48 mile : 48/48 seconds ... Divide both sides by 48.

1/48 mile : 1 seconds

3600*1/48 mile : 3600*1 seconds ... Multiply both sides by 3600 (see note below).

3600/48 mile : 3600 seconds

75 miles : 3600 seconds

75 miles : 1 hr

Answer: You are going 75 miles per hour
