Question 813268: The length of skid marks of a car's tires varies directly as the square of the speed of the car. If skid marks of 20 feet are produced at 30 miles per hour, how fast would the same car be going if it produced skid marks of 80 feet?
Answer by sudipdu2(2) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Ans:-
Skid marks=K.V^2
K=20/30^2
Now v^2=Skid marks/K
=80*30*30/20=60^2
so V=60miles per hour
Velocity should be 60miles per hour
