time = 3/4 hour ; rate = r mph ; distance = (3/4)r miles

Bussing DATA:
time = 1/4 hour ; rate = r+20 mph ; distance = (1/4)(r+20) miles

Equation:
(3/4)r = (1/4)r + 5
(1/2)r =5
r = 10 mph
r+20 = 30 mph (speed of the bus)
