Question 793394: sir if initial velocity ,time and accelaration is given then which formula is used to calculate the distance traveled by a moving object? plz tell me
Answer by DrBeeee(684)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let d = distance, ft, travelled in t sec
Let do = initial distance (may be zero for your question), ft.
Let v = initial velocity, ft/sec
Let a = initial acceleration, ft/(sec^2)
Let t = time travelled
Then the formula for the distance travelled is
(1) d = do + v*t + a*t^2
