Question 787696: How do I average rates during the first 3 hours

Answer by xinxin(76)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"Average" requires you to divide the total number of distance during the first 3 hours by 3.
If the distance is unknown, you can divide the sum of rates (there should be 3 rates: rate of the first hour, rate of second hour, rate of third hour) by 3.
