Question 786536: You need to get to class, 200 meters away, and you can only walk in the hallways at about 1.5 m/s. (if you run any faster, you’ll be caught for running). How much time will it take to get to your class?
Answer by dfollett76(12) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
200m = 1.5m/s * t
Now solve for t to get the time in seconds
200=1.5*t (we want to get t by itself, so lets get rid of the *1.5 by dividing both sides by 1.5)
200/1.5 = t
t = 133.33 seconds
