First find out how long it takes for the car to overtake the cycle
Let t = travel time of the car
then
(t + 2) = travel time of the cylce

When this occurs, they will both have traveled the same distance
Write a distance equation; dist = speed * time
56t = 16(t+2)
56t = 16t + 32
56t - 16t = 32
40t = 32
t = 32/40
t = .8 hrs for the car to overtake the cycle
