Question 772137: How fast would you have to go to go 400 miles in 30 minutes?
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distance = rate x time.

Convert the minutes to hours, because the distance is in miles and rate will be miles per hour. 30 minutes is 1/2 or .5 hours.

400 = .5r

400/.5 = r = 800 miles per hour.
