Question 769311: a train 1000 meters long running at a speed of 1000 meters per second is crossing a tunnel which is 1000 meters long.how long was the train inside the tunnel from the time it enters until it completely got out?
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the length of train = 1000 m
length of tunnel = 1000m
If the train has to come out completely from the tunnel it has to travel 2000 m
speed = 1000m/s
t= d/s
t=2000/1000
t= 2 seconds
