Question 764493: two airplanes leave the airport at the same time and travel in opposite directions. one plane averages 300 miles per hour, and the other averages 600 miles per hour. when will they be 2700 meter apart?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
300x + 600x = 2700 miles
900x = 2700
x = 3
So, within 3hrs the aeroplanes
will be 2,700 miles apart.
Hope this will help.
