Question 764172: please help!
Sir Robbin has covered 15951 miles in the service of King Arthur. He notices that this number is a palindrome. He continues riding and 4 hours later the total number of miles he has ridden is another palindrome. At what speed did he ride?

He has to travel over 1000 mph to change the first digit. That seems ridiculous. So the first digit is a one, which means the last digit is a 1.

He has to travel 100 miles to maintain the 5 in the ten's digit. That changes the thousand's digit to a 6: 16051. Change the ten's digit to a 6 with 10 more: 16061.

It took 110 to create the palindrome. 110/4 = 27.5 mph.
