Question 755214: A man walks at 5kmph for 6hr and at 4km/h for 12hr. His average speed is?
Answer by dkppathak(439)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
average speed =total distance/total time takem
distance in first case =speedxtime
= 5x6=30 km
second case =4x12=48 kms
total distance =30+48 =78 kms
total time taken =6+12 =16 hrs
average speed =78/16
=39/8 km/hrs
