Airplane A has 132 more passengers than airplane B. Between the both of the airplanes there are a total of 410 passengers. How do I solve this?

Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=132+B
A+B=410
132+B+B=410
2B=410-132
2B=278
B=278/2
B=139 PASSENGERS FOR PLANE B.
A=132+139
A=271 PASSENGERS FOR PLANEA.
PROOF:
271+139=410
410=410
