a) Find the average speed of the motorist
b) Find the distance between town x and town y.

from the meeting point motorist took 2 hours to reach Y.
In two hours cyclist would have gone 90 km
he was 30 km from X
So total distance of 90+30 =120 km the motorist took 1.5 hours
r=d/t
120/1.5 = 80 km/h motorist speed.
Total time by motorist = 3.5 hours
distance between X & Y = 80 *3.5 =280 km
