Answer by checkley79(3341) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
D=RT
D=16(4+2) FOR THE FIRST CAR.
D=R*2 FOR THE SECOND CAR.
16(4+2)=2R
16*6=2R
2R=96
R=96/2
R=48 MPH. FOR THE SECOND CAR.
PROOF:
D=16(4+2)=16*6=96 MILES
D=48*2=96 DITTO.
