-A bus travels at an average rate of 30 miles per hour left the city at 11:45 A.M. A car fallows the bus at 45 miles per hour left the city at noon. AT what time did the car catch up to the bus?

overtake speed is 15 mph
15 minute leador
30*0.25=7.5 mile lead
7.5/15=0.5=30 minutes to catch up or 12:30pm
